Official Game Day Thread - Furman

I don't know why anybody is suprised. We always play conservative right before the half. Every time it's a short pass or a run then locker room.

Good luck with that part. They're NEVER back in their seats at the start of the 3rd. Makes me crazy.
 
They have basically had one play. we are going to pull away in the third. 3 and out and a furman’’s wheels will fall off
 
Get a grip people. You may not agree, but Furman was ranked in the FCS top-10 for most of the season (#2 at times). Having the half-time lead over a damn good team looks pretty good to me.
 
Furman has 47 yards rushing on 19 attempts. Which means they have ZERO yards on 18 attempts and 53 yards on one run.

I take that back. They have -6 yards on the other 18 attempts.

Needing the crowd - probably ain’t gonna happen during the first possession. When I have the chance to make games - I don’t leave at half. Drives me nuts that people can’t slam a beer and get their arse back in the seat.

Stop the explosive plays and get the normal contribution from the offense and this one will be in the books.

I honestly don't understand it. You can drink with your friends any other time. You're there to see a football game and to help the team out. So get your butt in the seat.

Agreed. Defense looked really good save for two blown plays and if the offense gets rolling, we'll be just fine. Didn't play great, but still with the lead at half. Need a big stop of their first possession in the 3rd and that will go a long way.
