I just don’t understand it. The holes are THERE. They just seem hesitant to actually HIT them. That first down play where Ostmo got 1 yard, had he bounced it ONE gap to the right he had 5-7 yards of clear space. Then Fontes runs directly TO the tackler when he could have cut it upfield and gotten another 7-8 yards…

Uh. While it would be nice, we DID run the opening kickoff back for a TD, so I’m guessing Furman will want their shot.

Especially if we are going to continue playing so aggressive. Getting flashbacks of last years defense at times tonight with the big plays….live by the blitz, die by the blitz

EXACTLY. Come on D. I think the offense will get it going here in the next series. Close to breaking out.
