I think it.....says more about....Stitts offense.....than TG.....

Possibly true Box.TG deserves credit though but many are saying that Choate's stamp was on the Cat D as well.In any event, what's your point PR? The Griz D's late season collapse this year is certainly nothing new. TG had his share.... I'd certainly call it a wash at this point. Ursa, are we in for another year of Cat/Griz defensive statistical comparisons? LOL.
10-4!

You mean $300,000 a year coaches get extra years to improve, but Stitt told a player he couldn't improve in one?

This is just stupid. Stitt decided to go with underclassman that he deemed to have better upside. I guess it is Stitt's fault that a 5th year Senior fell down the depth chart. Is Stitt the evil behind cancer, world hunger, and ISIS too?

Stitt lost Delaney's recruits, although at the post-game presser he was still blaming a "divided" team that he inherited for some reason.
And where was the upper class talent behind them?
Well, Chase Naccarato would have been a senior this year as a WR, but, as is well known, he couldn't stand Stitt and left.

Actually, he was told he wouldn't play and so he left. And by using Chase as your rebuttal, you have done our job for us.

Why didn't you respond to the rest of his comment, you know, the one he added 10 minutes after you posted this?

Just went back and looked. He will have to edit it again because of errors. I just ignored the stupidity. And JLM and Lyons were big upgrades...over Naccarato.

Hope he performed better than he did on the field.

Not hard to outperform a guy who can't finish anything

No the "upgrades" were over the previous year, fool. Jamal and Ellis. Unless you are claiming that Naccarato was our leading rusher the previous year. Of course you're not. It doesn't fit your usual bobblehead agenda. God, why can't you just stick to facts and not your ongoing trolling? And no, my last upgrade to my ongoing post was to add JLM. You know, the new guy.

OK, now that we've got the complete list of juniors and seniors, what's your point?

Naccarato and JLM play the same slot receiver position. Jones and Henderson didn't...

Just quoting Stitt.
And he clearly meant upgrades over Naccarato, who was not a D1 caliber player either as a receiver or as a kick returner.

This is what Stitt said:
Perhaps the Grizzlies' deepest position group a year ago, UM begins 2016 with little more than questions at wide receiver. Gone from last fall's roster are a dozen WRs.

"It's kind of weird," said junior Josh Horner. "Last year there were guys two, three years older than me and all of a sudden I'm the oldest guy."

Horner is one of just three returning receivers to have caught a pass in a Griz uniform, his 22 receptions a year ago the bulk of the combined 30 total among he and sophomores Keenan Curran and Caleb Lyons.

That could be worrisome for a program head like coach Bob Stitt, but he likes this group's upside more.

"The jury's still out, but I'm excited about 'em," Stitt said. "They don't act like they're afraid and tentative. They're going out and getting the ball when we went 7-on-7 on Monday.

"... I like the way they went out and performed on Monday (at the first practice), going out and catching the ball. Last year it was a struggle as a group really all spring and Monday was maybe better than all of spring last year."

They can catch; that's at least one major question answered.

Yah BG is unlikely to get a shot at the NFL. I'm pretty sure I have always stated that he will get a real shot if his season goes according to assumption.

His stats were good enough. Regardless of what people on this board say his accuracy is fine and his understanding of the game is really good. He has the intangibles.

However, he got injured again. He was on a mediocre FCS team and does not know the pro style offense. I think you could probably look through every single game and not find many plays where BG had enough time to go through progressions like he would in the NFL so his highlight reel is slim pickings.

I think Brady doesn't sniff the NFL anymore after the year he had. However, I do think if the WR and OL play didn't decline so hard that we would have a better indication of where Brady is as a player. It's a big question mark right now.

None of that mattered, BG was never a NFL quality QB.

I would be willing to bet he gets a free agent deal. Like him or not, he does have a lot of attributes that NFL teams covet and if he has some good workouts and pro day, an agent will get him a shot. I always thought BG, would do better in a pro-style type offense. He has an awful lot of work to do on his mechanics. Would need to go to a team that would be willing to work with him on that. Some long odds, but I'll be rooting for him.

You are probably right if a team is looking for a strong armed inaccurate QB that is as mobile as a statue.
Two of the attributes the NF teams covet are a quick release, which he does not, and a gamer, which he is not.

Your list of Juniors and Seniors is incorrect was the error. And even your list demonstrates the large void left by Delaney.

It wasn't "my list" but it did show that Stitt thought that the WRs this year were superior to last year's (Jamal, Henderson). He specifically said so. So as usual, you impale yourself on fabricated minutae? And please don't bring your wife into this. She's suffered enough from fabricated minutae.
