the offensive line is so bad because it is easier for you to follow the group-think of egriz and engage in excuse-making for hauck than it is to actually watch closely and compare to the griz the play of other fcs lines, and make a bias-free analysis.

argh, I am not even a fan of Bobby, but this OL is not good, bottom quarter of the BSC bad. You are so heart broken about Stitt being fired, that your bias won't allow you to admit that he left a flawed roster.

but do the deficiencies in the o-line play have to do with the players, or how they are taught and coached? how long has it been since the griz had a "good" oline?

argh, I think talent is a big issue. But there are issues with technique for sure. On the fatal play, the Guard lunges at the DL and completely whiffs. I would say on that play, the Guard is more a technical problem, but the center and tackle were just overpowered.

Tucker Yates literally threw Cy Sirmon out of the way.

Only 2 starters on the OL that came here on scholarship to play OL. Not much depth behind them. I actually thought they got better as the year progressed, but tough for those guys to put a full game together when you are physically overmatched. Technique is also the first thing to go when you become fatigued. Hopefully some of the freshman put in work this winter and step up as well as us getting a few drop downs (relying on JC transfers would not be ideal). Overall, I think they looked well coached.

Keintz is very raw but has gotten better. I think he will be a good player before he is done. Tough assignment to play every snap at OT during the year as a freshman. Beaver is also just a sophomore playing LT. He will get better.
