Now, if I had said that, there would be five specific posters screaming at the tops of their keyboards about my "ANTI-STITT AGENDA!!!" because I have criticized the way he handles the public relations aspect of player departures. Now, going after him as a coach, and as the offensive coordinator ... crickets!reinell30 said:CITAY: Please come to my tailgate and drink for free. When do all the excuses about "early season" and he "doesn't yet have his personnel" and "he can't do this until the Syrian crisis is resolved"....when do all the excuses end? I would really like to know, because I watch other teams, and I see little evidence of genius here. Which is hugely ironic, given that almost all the other aspects of this football team are coming together so beautifully, while our offense is so pathetic.

For me, I am looking forward to that innovative offense we were told about. Seriously. I am looking forward to it. Can't complain about beating #3.
Absolutely true. Think about that.grizcountry420 said:You can't get too innovative with a 6'7" pocket passerUMGriz75 said:For me, I am looking forward to that innovative offense we were told about. Seriously. I am looking forward to it. Can't complain about beating #3.

That is why there are two on the bench, and a former, that were/are in the long run better QBs.
BozAngelesGriz said:Not a greased lightning offense like we were promised with stitt, no doubt. And this same scenario played itself out over and over last season: quick 3 and outs and a chiefly defensive game with the opponent firmly in control of TOP. But the same formula that worked against sdsu in the playoffs worked again yesterday; points are points and it doesn't matter if you have a 1 half offense. Both games we built enough of a lead that even though the griz were scoreless in the second half, run-heavy slow-paced offenses were unable to make up the deficit. Both games were ugly wins. But both were wins against strong opponents where we were in the lead the whole game. Would not be remotely surprised if it worked in two weeks against cal poly and we hear the same offensive gripes. But I bet it's a win for the griz.
Why would any coach play anyone but the man he considered his best quarterback???UMGriz75 said:Absolutely true. 88 yards (net) rushing.
118 yards (net) passing.
48% passing.
65 plays (82 UNI).
2 fumbles
10 punts
Haven't caught the game yet, but if someone had handed me those stats, I'd ask how bad was the final score.
Fat Bruno said:The guy who doesn’t know how to spell city asks, “When will the excuses end?” Really! Probably the stupidest and most dishonest question asked on here of late. The “excuses" will end WHEN he actually does get his personnel in place … which in college football takes at least two or three years and usually longer since most of them come in as freshmen and need a couple years to develop. But, I guess because that excuse — or reason amongst honest people — has been uttered numerous times, it’s no longer a valid explanation?! And, then we get the inane crap about how other teams — in entirely different situations — are already rolling early in the season … astonishing. It’s whining garbage like this that give us all the tiresome, predictable adolescent melodrama and infantile angst in the fan base of almost every team in sports.
Then we have to listen to 75’s stereotypical denial of his tiresome agenda. “If I’d said this blah blah … I’d have been accused …blah. No, if he’d said it repeatedly, like a f***[*] parrot, for months on end, then he’d have been accused of having an agenda. As it is, he’s just accused of being brainless.
