Offense

I'm also tired of the constant switching in and out, seems to cause more harm then good in regards to consistency. I like both of our QBs and it's awesome we can rely on both but we need to name a starter and stick with him, my vote would be Fife.

Agreed but love playing Ah Yat in games like this and last week. Who cares how much we win by. Those teams were never going to beat us. Fife whole game against Davis
I'm cool with that BUT start Fife and then when the game is well under control, put Ah Yat in. The back and forth and back and forth is crazy and does not seem to help the team at all.

We won easily 42-7, I think some of you all are being a little dramatic about the offense and the QB rotation.

I think the inability to run the ball had the biggest impact on our offense's performance than anything else.

Take a gander at CP’s defense… backside edge followed the play and frequently blew up the cut back. Later on, the o line peeled a blocker behind the play allowing the cutback. Ostmo (who is a great north-south runner) helped by only making 1 cut. Sealing the back side sprung more yards later in the game and reduced tfls. The cost is there are fewer blockers down field, but CP was really attacking outside-in on their run fits. Their DC dialed up a honey of a game. Just didn’t quite have the horses to keep pace.

And our OL did not have their best game. 68 yards rushing.

Regardless of who we have at qb, our playcalling is much more vanilla against lesser teams.

Most defenses are aggressively committing to controlling the GRIZ running game.

I don't understand why there's not more playactions, more screens, more quick pass plays to areas the defenses are vacating with their aggressiveness?

Those kind of plays are consistently there for the GRIZ offense, yet we're not calling those kind of plays! Why not?

If I can see these things as a fan, what's up with the coaches? We absolutely have to improve in implementing what the defenses are exposing themselves to.

Then again, Hauck knows what they need to win. Therefore, why do more? That's got to be it. This offense has proven in most games how great it is, when it's needed.

Why would you throw the kitchen sink at a team you know has zero chance of beating you? Hauck doesn’t care at all about how much we win by. And we won by 35. Wait until Davis
