I'll be honest and tell you that I didn't find anything that made me believe he isn't still punching way up, but yes, young Eck with the gel in his hair looked borderline smooth. His wife deserves a lot of credit in this day and age for sticking to her "for better or for worse" vows.

I would suggest the wifey played a big part in his transformation. Dude must be packing though.
In regard to point number one, probably true. My husband has oft remarked that my cooking was the single greatest contributor to his weight gain over the years. In regard to your second point - nope. Not even going there.
I mean, there is a non-zero chance that dude is absolutely packing....
I would complain about the direction this thread has taken but it's at least some of my own fault. Sigh...

The reality, the thread has loads of ambiguity, it is how you translate that ambiguity that leads in a direction.
