Just watched Odell drop a pass right in his hands.

Huh. Based on what I’ve read here I thought only Curran did that.

Not our senior co-captain and leader

Im pretty sure JLM may have dropped just as many or more passes on Saturday than Curran did.

Shit, Toure and Akem each had a bad drop, too, if I remember correctly.

Yet nary a mention of those folks....Curran is the goat.

He's been doing it his whole career. Would have been a pretty solid college safety. Never had the hands for receiver. Great guy to have on the team, special teams player, or good student coach. But has been a hindrance to the program in the way he was used.

He led the team with 5 catches yesterday when everyone else was dropping balls, as well. He snagged a huge 3rd down grab that kept a touchdown drive going. He's never been known as someone who doesn't take care of the ball when he has it. The drops have been an issue, which is why Akem normally has been starting ahead of him (I think Akem might still be banged up), but this is such utter bullshit hyperbole.

If Curran was a hindrance to the program yesterday, every other receiver not named Samori Toure was even worse. JLM was targeted a bunch, and managed just one catch for -2 yards.

Curran was almost literally the only reliable receiver we had yesterday.

Thanks for pointing out Curran's receptions. For some people, reality is harder to see than preconceived perception.

I respect Keenan, despite his propensity for drops, because of his ability to come up with tough catches when it is needed. I think it was his fumble on the last drive that mostly impacted my thoughts. As the senior leader of the WRs, I thought he would know when ball security was more important than fighting for the first down. The game was over if he had held on.

There were some dropped balls, but also some pretty difficult throws for receivers to get their hands on. I think Sneed being rushed affected timing and accuracy of a lot of his passes.
