2016 is a re-building year for the Griz. We lost way too many of our key players to think otherwise. Here are the pluses and minuses:

2) Transitioning from Ty to Semore
3) Stitt dumping his stupid "hurry-up-offense-go-for-it-on-4th-down" philosophy at mid-season
4) Probably a much stronger defensive secondary
5) Hopefully more depth at key positions
6) An easier schedule

MINUSES:

1) An untested punter
2) An untested FG kicker
3) A QB with only a few games of starting experience
4) A average stable of running backs
5) Lack of a blocking back
6) A returning O-line unable to run-block
7) Loss of top three WRs
8) Loss of the best D-lineman in the nation
9) Loss of three strong LBs, with un-tested replacements
10) Lack of size in our D-ends

Funny stuff, and true too! If we lose that game, even more questions surrounding Stitt's ability to coach at this level would have surfaced. We lose that game 99/100 times with the same circumstances. Bottom line for me, at least, is that he showed me nothing in 2015 as a head coach, and I am willing to give him the 2016 season to see if he can recover.
