Yes, I was responding to the usual guy who tries to provoke and my point was that those two programs have had success travelling to Missoula in the dead of winter and leaving with victories. There are great talents in Montana but they have to be spread between UM, MSU, Mt Tech, Carroll, Eastern, Western, and an occasional FBS school. Here, the population is roughly 5 million yet the FCS schools still manage to get kids from schools that are very good. I have 13 high schools within a 50 mile radius whose play is truly outstanding for high school play. There is a reason Clemson wins..and USC, and this year, Wofford, Citadel, Charleston Southern, these schools have traditions, too, and compete with Coastal, App State, Ga. South. for talent. The level of competition in the South for football players is outstanding and the coaches are old school. And, for most of the season, the weather is horrible with heat, humidity and mosquitoes...
