I'm posting some nostalgia from an Eagle fan's perspective. Something griz fans did all the way back in 1997 and still sticks with me today. It was our semi-final game vs. Youngstown State. A dozen or so griz fans showed up with all their griz gear on with a big banner that said: "Griz Fans Support the Eagles." I thought that was pretty impressive and classy to support other Big Sky teams in the playoffs. :clap:

BTW-I've seen both the griz and cats play this year. I feel sorry for the cats this week because you're going to embarrass them in in their own house. Of all the conference teams we have played this year, I actually thought they were only better than Weber. I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the cats coaches, fans, or players, but they simply don't have the athletes to put up much of a fight. Just an independent and unbiased observation.

Griz fans could be gracious when EWU was an up-and-comer but now that you have arrived and probably are the closest thing to a real competitive rival we have, we have to hate you. We just do.

I was at Joe Albi Stadium that day, and there were more than a dozen Griz fans there. In fact, there were at least several hundred. Mike Kramer looked up in the stands with a shocked look on his face, and gave us a big smile and thumbs-up. I'd come over there to watch you again if you played some games at Joe Albi! :)

Truth. It's really a compliment, but I hate the Eags now.
