Northwestern State Demons Scouting Report

So I thought it was interesting and funny how the Skyline link cut the interview immediately after Bobby answered Rainey’s 37 question to give the impression that the press conference was cut short. They left off the next like 30+ seconds of the press conference where Bobby stayed in an upbeat mood laughing about Ed Orgeron and no where near on the verge of a temper tantrum. Nice “spin” Colter. How’s that 37 story going anyway you seemed so eager to do?

We have a new video grapher, she stopped recording when she thought it ended because Taber asked if there were any more questions. Nothing intentional about it.

If you listen to the podcast audio, which I was in control of and the school provided, you will hear the end. Unintentional that it was cut off of the video.

So it appears alabama is the conspiracy theorist. Newsflash, Colter is a media guy. 37 is STILL a story whether we like it or not. Or should he just cover how great Bobby is going forward? How great of a mood he’s always in. Talk about all his National Championships. Oh wait….

Oh, great hire Colter. You hired a video grapher, not a videographer. What does she do, make graphs of things SHE deems important? Does she know jack shit about football? What you should have hired is a videographer. Here's the definition from Google(citing my source):
"Videographers film or videotape private ceremonies or special events, such as weddings. They also may work with companies and make corporate documentaries on a variety of topics. Some videographers post their work on video-sharing websites for prospective clients. Most videographers edit their own material."
Try again. The University could probably help you in your selection process. They have, over the years, shown great videos on the Big Screen in WGS, not just some press conference.

Wow, who pissed in your cheerios this morning?

I’ve never seen a Griz game with so many people attempting to unload their tickets. Is it the quality of opponent? Is it the projected heat index? Did Labor Day plans interfere?

Got to be the heat. Not gonna lie, if I knew how hot it was going to be I’d rethink getting a ticket as well. I’m traveling from Billings to see the game, but now wonder if it wouldn’t have been better to watch from the comfort of home. The athletic department really should have considered scheduling these first couple of games at night. If attendance is low the first two games they will have no one else to blame.

Heat I'm guessing. I know some people that have changed plans and my family (not me personally) is also on the fence.

Yeah, it's so bad, there probably won't be over about 25,000 people in the stands.

I know I'll be there!

Im guessing there will still be a good turnout, but it does seem like a good number of tickets are being sold right now so hopefully they get picked up.

Remember this also. The entire state can watch the game live from the comfort of their own living rooms over free local channels, and still 25,000 people willl venture to WaGriz Stadium to watch it in person!

I have 4 tickets and have 2 of them for sale for every game. I haven't reduced my count from when I had 2 kids still at home. Maybe I should look into that for next year.

Jesus Christ people... you're sounding like a bunch of pussies! Has anyone ever been to a game down South early season? Try 100+ degrees with 80% humidity and see how that feels..... yet they pack em in. Neither of the MT games this wknd will be anything like some of the early season games they have down South. That is REAL heat. Toughen up Montana.

My first year of 4 tickets and both kids now at UM as well. Couldn’t give ‘‘em up. Had these tickets since the north end zone was completed. Looking forward to inviting friends and family.

NW St.

Big transfer qb from Kansas. Normal size rb. Tall slim TE. 3 small receivers and 1 big one. Assume receivers have speed. O-line is big, except left tackle.

D-line is pretty big. LB are pretty big. Corners and safeties normal. Rover weighs 215.

Punt returner/KO returner is a receiver.

That is why I made the choice NOT to live down south, talk to us in November/December

Ya, NW St players and fans are probably hearing how much Griz fans are complaining about the heat and they’ll get up here and be like “fall is in the air”.

I don’t think there’s any way a team with an OC that’s been onboard for exactly 1 week is going to score 17 against this D. The 42 might be right, but I’m going to guess that the D starts a new streak of 4 quarters without giving up a TD.
