I have been hearing all around town that the UNI game is sold out. Obviously this is not true, infact there is almost 2 full sections available in the south endzone and I believe more tickets will be released on thursday. How many tickets do you think we will sell this week of those south endzone spots? Have not seen much in the way of advertising from the university for the game. hope to see wa/griz rockin!

A guy in my office called in to get some tickets for some family that's coming to town, he was on hold for 45 minutes waiting, but did get some tickets. Lots of people calling in to get some it seems.

It sure ought to be a sell out. Probably the most anticipated home game since NDSU several years ago. I don't know how any Griz fan wouldn't be excited about this one. Hauck back. New team. New offense/defense. New QB. Highly ranked opponent. Significant rivalry. Night game and nice weather. Can't wait to see what the team's got this year.

The true fans will be there at this game. If you are not dead or in the hospital or on an emergency, no excuse to not be in the stadium for this one. Except for those that live over 650 miles away.

Yea if you talk to the office there are more tickets available than what they have on griz tix too. I'm sure sales will pick up as the game gets closer too. Good to hear the phones are busy. I am sure that calling this morning was a bad idea as im sure with students first day they were busy swiping griz cards too

Phew, was getting worried I was a bad fan until the last sentence. I live about 920 miles away.

Have friends that live in Sidney Mt that make the trip almost every game and they are about 650 miles away. I have friends coming from Boise for this game as well.

Now I only live 543 miles away, but have first weekend competitive soccer for my oldest daughter. There is a gap in games though, so hope to make one later in the year. Also if weather OK will drive to Moscow. Does that count?

Almost thought I wasn't a true fan too...but I am out of the 650 mile area. 1408.86 miles from the center of the Grizzly on the 50 yard line to my front door in Indiana (according to Google Earth).

Seriously, I need a True Fan handbook. I fear I’m in violation.

Who gets to make these rules? I want in...

I had to Google map to make sure I was still a true fan. 1,172 miles for me. :thumb:

You've still got plenty of time to make it if your priorities are set correctly. After all, it is a night game! ;)

2,030 for me. I’ll be in Macomb though which is a 567 mile drive.

2,213 miles for me, so I will save my money for Frisco and just watch it from the den. I will however turn the AC as low as it can go, and the volume as high I can stand so it will be Cold and Loud! GO GRIZ!
