Northern Colorado @ #7 Montana Game Thread

Lider certainly has some good hangtime and accuracy on short punts. That is 2's he forced UNC to fair catch around the 10 yard line. I have a feeling, we will not being see much more of the playbook rest this game. This 2nd half has not been too good offensively.

I'm confused... If the refs called a false start, isn't that supposed to stop the play? I didn't think you could decline a false start penalty because of it usually being a dead ball?

Nice interview with Coyle. As he was walking back, he was flagged down for an autograph. Sure enough, he happily signed for a few kids. Good to see.

Should be the last we see of JJ, Saylor, Jones etc...The twos have been getting a lot of run on the Defensive side of the ball & have now pretty much taken over on D. Guys are getting hurt & theres a reason why they call this "garbage time" lets see Gus or Simis in the game to build some QB depth & start developing year. SSH is not needed today

The score is about what I expected. I picked 38-10 GRIZ. This game could have been much more one sided though. The GRIZ really took the foot off the gas in the 2nd half. Good to see the defense playing hard for 4 quarters. Better yet, good to see a terrific 1st half of play calling. I wish they would have continued to clean up some things on offense. This offense took a huge step forward today.

I cannot emphasize enough how we need this play calling versatility more often. I do think the coaches took it too easy on UNC in the 2nd half. As I type that, the commentator also said the play calling was lazy in the 2nd half.

Correct and the Roots announcer had, some fairly harsh criticism of the O's performance in the second half. A win is a win, but something still not clicking with the O line and running game. To be fair - tough to get up for the second half the way UNC (LE) was playing. I was just hoping we would not see amton of injuries. Unfortunately we had a few.
