He always coached on the lines as a position coach. I think all but one year as an offensive line coach before becoming a coordinator and head coach.

TBH unless Barney was coming here to be just an analyst, I don't think he'd be good for much.

It’s his Alma mater and close to his home town. I have no idea how he fit with Bobby and the other coaches and if that has any bearing on his decision.
