And Hoops stated a few times on here that the Griz OL is better than the Cats OL. Said that about the RBs too. Would like to see him comment on this now.

Nope. I said I’d rather have the UM line. They know how to pass block, except against NAU apparently.

Hoops, I didn’t go back an check your statements, but I don’t think you specifically mentioned pass blocking. I think you just said the Griz OL is better. In any event, you probably did not see the Cats game vs Weber Saturday. But, the Cats on offense and defense put on a clinic. The Cat OL was outstanding pass and run blocking. Almost 600yds in total offense against a strong Weber DL and LBs. It was night and day better than the Griz OL. The Griz OL is not in the same league.

from my little understanding of how the internet works and I know very little about it I though vpn or some other alphabet thing ip addresses can be manipulated to show where ever you want them to be.

They can, that is true.

Honestly, maybe I just have an overly attuned sense of writing style, but it was always odd to me when people accused me of being Hoops. I think we communicate very differently. Same with this poster. Their style of speaking is just not similar. If you read his posts, his cadence is fairly unique among posters here.

I actually assumed it was a current player who made the mistake of getting onto eGriz.

I don’t think the writing style of the returned hoops writes like the hoops before France, just seems off.

maybe you and some of your cronies should bet the $5000 hoops wants to bet on the game. I did watch the scats game and they did look good in all phases of the game. Based just on the NAU game and the Weber game it would be a safe bet.... I think you guys are better with Chambers as QB.....I also think a lot will change by the time Nov rolls around.

Nope. I said I “would rather have” multiple times. Stop misrepresenting what I have said. I don’t jusge any team or position group on one game.

No one I asked even wants to bet dollars on the game. Uptop has dodged completely on his supposed bet, despite multiple requests, so I declare that one null and void. No bet there.

I am now posting mostly in French, so the auto-translation must be causing that.

I always focused on the quitter, but take a look at Walker's "block" (at LT). It is embarrassingly bad effort. If that's what Germer can do with a player...wow

You dumbasses who say you have watched the clip many times, know so little about football and have bad eyes,
that you haven’t noticed that the center snapped the ball ahead of the snap count. He snaps and stands up. None of the other linemen don’t move, as they are waiting for the snap count. NAU defenders all get a head start because they are watching the ball being snapped. This play was shown at qb club multiples times, and discussed. The ball was snapped early multiple times in the game.

Some of you posters are so devoid of football knowledge. I had to cut my France trip short to get back in order to get some of you yahoos under control. I departed Paris today.

I have had messages saying I need to get back,
including from people I don’t know. Even from a Cat fan. Even he seems to be embarrassed by some of
your stupid posts.

Talk about about a bunch of quitters. You bad Griz fans. “My team lost a game they should have won. I am not going to watch games anymore.”
Does an early snap give other players a pass for allowing a defender on the ground (long after the early snap) to get back up a run to make the tackle, or another oline guy walk toward the sideline area as his QB is getting sacked? Come on, you can't think that was acceptable.

So all the other lineman actually moved when waiting for the snap count? Wouldn't that be illegal motion? Possibly you should learn to edit your posts before posting to rid yourself of double negatives so you don't look so illiterate. Sheriff Hoops and deputy dipstick (aka Kem) are coming back to set things right on egriz. Give us a f...ing break

Did the whistle blow? No. Did they stop playing? Yes. Did they start walking off the field as their QB was under duress? Yes. Did they help him up? No.

I don’t care if the ball was snapped early. I care about everything that happened AFTER the ball was snapped.

Wrong. I quoted your idiotic post where you stated the UM line was “better and deeper” it’s all laid out in the Bobby’s post game press release thread. Literally nothing you have said this season has come true. You need to retire your opinions. Or…. Start a sitcom. Let’s take these past 4 games body of work and compare, let’s even throw SOS out the window…

Hoops....."None of the other lineman don't move."

To me it looked none of the other linemen moved.🧐

Plenty of chances going forward for this OL to give the QB Clubbers some really cool film study. "The spin" will interesting reading!

Thank you Soldier. I also think the Cats have more quality depth on their OL. I don’t see quality depth on the Griz OL so far this year. Just look at the offensive production stats of the Griz so far. Pretty dismal. I have to say Hoops is unshakeable in his support of the team no matter what he sees.

This will not be a popular post but I’m tired of reading a bunch bs about how y’all think anybody on this team quit. I see a bunch whiners that are clueless about what really happened.

I challenge any of you to get off your couches, put down the drinks and play for a full game at 7000’. If any of you had any understanding you would understand that the team was gassed by the 4th quarter. Not hard to see or understand. Coaches simply didn’t rotate personnel enough, especially on the defensive and offensive lines. Look at the OL between plays. On the video that everyone is bitching about players giving up, it is obvious they are clearly fatigued from both their body language and reaction.

These young men are student athletes. Nobody wants to win more than they do. They put in the time and effort to succeed and represent. For those that think any of them quit, you reside between an idiot and an imbecile on the nitwit scale.

NOBODY quit on this team!!! Except for a bunch of you fair weather fans. Be glad you’re not a No Colorado fan. Wait, maybe y’all should be. Teach you about humility.

What you post on here is read by parents, family members, some players and potential recruits. Your bitching gives the school, city and state a bad look.

Now you may return to your whining, where clearly 70% of seem to be happy.

My kids are the 4th generation in my family to get degrees from UM. I’ve had season tickets since WaGriz was a big new hole in the ground. My son was blessed to have been with the team, go on to graduate and head to law school. So - yeah I’m a committed Griz fan. My first games were at Dornblaser. Not since those Dornblaser days have I been less enthused about the product on the field. For 2 years the decline has been palpable. Kids who perform not used in the game. Offense more and more hapless. Lines on both side of the ball overmatched by the better teams we faced. Sure there have been a few good, even great, games and individual performances but I can’t shake the realization that the program is very mediocre and there is no apparent path to improvement with the current staff.

Yes, I have said the Griz o-line is deeper than the Cats’ and thus better. Also have said: “My view hasn’t changed. Wouldn’t want those 3 groups of yours. 22 has some potential. The QB’s are good but don’t fit our offense. Same with o-line.”

To be clear, I like UM 10 better than Cat 10. I also have some feedback from coaches on this. If Griz o-line starts playing like NAU game, I will change my mind. Let’s see how the ISU game goes.

Not one person said they'd stop supporting or cheering for the Griz, they said they'd just stay home and cheer from there instead of financially giving to support the failures of this coaching staff. Rather be a fan that calls it as it is then one who buries his head in the sand and cares more about protecting his buddies in the coaching ranks then the success of the team as a whole.

Are you incapable of looking at the clip and seeing what happened? Are you that unknowledgeable? Your only contribution to egriz is looking for typos. Obviously, you have not gone far in sports or life. Did you ever sniff the varsity in anything?
