Except none of the issues you mention are "uncharacteristic". It's all become VERY common. Unblocked defenders. Opponents' WR's running free with no Griz defender within 7 yards. New to the equation this game was the entire offensive line quitting in the middle of a play and walking off the field while the QB was running for his life. EIGHTEEN yards rushing (a whopping 0.8 ypc) against an 0-3 team that just got blasted by transitional Utah Tech AT HOME. 2/12 on third down conversions against an 0-3 team that just gave up FIFTY POINTS to transitional Utah Tech. SEVEN SACKS given up against an 0-3 team that just got blasted by transitional Utah Tech at home. Zero sacks for our vaunted D. Zero pass breakups. ZERO QB hurries. 5.4 yards per PLAY given up.

And sure, Vidlak is getting experience...running for his life. This Griz team ain't coming within 50 points of the 'Scats. Hate to say it, but it's true.

And if the team truly DID "take NAU lightly", then that and that alone is a fireable offense on the coaching staff, IMHO. I mean, how many times are you gonna buy Bobby's poop before it starts smelling, even for YOU? There was ZERO room for error in this schedule with the D2 on the docket...Now they must literally win every remaining game but one. I predict, at most, 3 more victories.

Hence why I said "at most". ISU, UNC and maybe PSU. I can easily see them shitting one or more of THOSE down their leg too. And we know they aren't beating any of the top half the the BSC teams...that's a pipe dream at this point.

This will not be a popular post but I’m tired of reading a bunch bs about how y’all think anybody on this team quit. I see a bunch whiners that are clueless about what really happened.

I challenge any of you to get off your couches, put down the drinks and play for a full game at 7000’. If any of you had any understanding you would understand that the team was gassed by the 4th quarter. Not hard to see or understand. Coaches simply didn’t rotate personnel enough, especially on the defensive and offensive lines. Look at the OL between plays. On the video that everyone is bitching about players giving up, it is obvious they are clearly fatigued from both their body language and reaction.

These young men are student athletes. Nobody wants to win more than they do. They put in the time and effort to succeed and represent. For those that think any of them quit, you reside between an idiot and an imbecile on the nitwit scale.

NOBODY quit on this team!!! Except for a bunch of you fair weather fans. Be glad you’re not a No Colorado fan. Wait, maybe y’all should be. Teach you about humility.

What you post on here is read by parents, family members, some players and potential recruits. Your bitching gives the school, city and state a bad look.

Now you may return to your whining, where clearly 70% of seem to be happy.

Thanks for proving me correct. My above post is also accurate. I was bored, and decided to post something controversial. EGriz didn’t disappoint, as this post brought out the worse, including trolls, fake accounts and “fans” that have been bitching for months, some fo years.

I lived near Sentinel in the 60s, and remember the bad years after the Camelia Bowl. It wasn’t just one bad game back then, and football played second fiddle to men’s basketball. Things are far better now, than they were then. I challenge any of you to tell Hunter or Walker that they quit on the team! Most of you almighty with a keyboard to hide behind.

Even though I said in the above post I was done, I feel I owe an apology to Hoops, because the trolls believe that I, am him. Jokes on all of you. Mods: if you want; you can confirm that my IP and his are thousands of miles apart (assuming he is in France.)

As for me, I’ve been a Griz fan for 47 years through the best and worse years. I fully expect this team to rebound, much like NAU did Saturday. I predict no home losses this year. Am I right? Maybe, maybe not but I won’t quit on my team. Many of you throwing shade at the players are hypocrites because you are doing the same thing.

EGriz is predictable, and my boredom has been satisfied.

that you haven’t noticed that the center snapped the ball ahead of the snap count. He snaps and stands up. None of the other linemen move, as they are waiting for the snap count. NAU defenders all get a head start because they are watching the ball being snapped. This play was shown at qb club multiples times, and discussed. The ball was snapped early multiple times in the game.

Some of you posters are so devoid of football knowledge. I had to cut my France trip short to get back in order to get some of you yahoos under control. I departed Paris today.

I have had messages saying I need to get back,

you must be talking to someone else as I believe you were in France. I am in the minority here lately and I think the Griz are going to win most of their remaining games. Only one I am little concerned with is Idaho not to mistaken with Idaho state.
