No wonder hoops prefers talking Dartmouth. I think he wore 61 when he played.

That’s what can happen when the center snaps the call ahead of the snap count.

Note that I didn’t start the topic. But feel free to keep bringing up the subject. I have a lot more.
I suppose you want to get back to Griz fans quitting on the team.

I'm in the minority here, in that I fear a quick slants offense or anything that lets them drop a quick pass over the top of our blitzing LB's. ISU likes to do that a lot. I think we're going to win plenty of games this year still, but I don't want us to look past ISU here.
Before the NAU game, I warned one and all about being "complacent." Game played INDOORS AT 7,000 FEET! Different environment, indeed. So, our team leisurely saunters out of the tunnel and onto, in front of a spare 'crowd.' And promptly gets it's ass handed to them. That is on Bobby, period.
I watched ISU football for many years. They surprised a lot of teams. They will play tough in WGS. Always have. New coach has probably already has considerable help from Daddy. I will have a complementary Kool Aid stand outside the NEZ North Exit and will be using a bullhorn,a ala Jim Jones, for those of you too dejected to raise your head to look for help.
I don't feel good about his team, coaches, or outlook for the rest of the year. I could be wrong, and will admit it if a "new and improved Griz football team" shows up. What I saw at NAU couldn't compete in the Frontier Conference.

Even rich guys probably hate loosing $1000. that would be like me loosing a dollar which i hate to do.
I'd bet him any amount he's willing to wager. But I ALSO bet he's not willing to take me up on the offer.

Criticism is warranted. If our coach were anyone else other than Bobby Hauck you would be criticizing him too.

dang a double bet...you might want to put some stipulations and a limit on the the second bet or I can see that one not working out..

Okay, I will take the 2 bets as a pair, and only as a pair. $100 straight up on Griz-Cat outcome AND $1,000 on whether or not I will make the first bet. OR, we can do $1,000 and $10,000. And, if you want, we can make a third side bet of $100 that you won’t do the first pair-combo bet you proposed. In order to be effective, both of us have to clearly agree to all this in clear posts after this post.
You may as well send me $9,000 now, and then we can figure the other piece or pieces after the game.
Thanks, retiredpopo. That was a good idea. Ha.

    Well played.
I'll take the first bet though. Straight up.
This'll be the first time in my LIFE I've ever bet against the Griz. Really really really hope I'm sending you $100 on 11/19. :thumb:

mthoopsfan said:bigsky33 said:Hoops, do you have a answer on this? Would also be interested to know if you think the Griz RBs are better than the Cat RBs?
Yes. Way better and way deeper.

Nope, I said we could do both bets as a pair. That's my only and final offer.

Fine. I'll take the first bet for $100 and the second bet for $1.
I figured you'd find a way to worm out of it. Because you know in your heart of hearts we don't stand a snowball's chance in hell on the 18th of November.

I understand the OL’s delayed reaction to the snap. We all know the OL goes on count, not movement.
However, that has nothing to do with how the play finished. He gave up during play. Saw his QB scrambling and started WALKING off the field. There’s no excuse for that.

You proposed a bet on 2 things. I said I would do that bet. You are now worming out on what you proposed. I still believe the Griz will beat the Cats. I’m happy to put $100 on the spread right before the game.

Okay, at the point he’s on the screen walking, the play is all but over. His man is not near him and is now behind the play. I’m not trying to say what he was doing was okay, but what else do you think he could have done that would have helped.
