No thread about Selvig's 800th win?

I understand football matters and drives the Montana name...but shouldn't there be one thread about coach Selvig's Milestone number?

Is anyone going to show up tomorrow night for the game?

I'm just holding off until I find out if the LG can defend their home court against a pretty decent Portland team. The Pilots have already defeated the PAC-12 Washington Huskies and also the top rated pre-season pick in the BSC in Eastern Washington. If the LG win against Portland their conference regular season schedule should work out quite well for them; perhaps hosting the BSC Tournament again this year. Whether it's 800th or not is irrelevant for the team's success in the coming months towards another berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Yeah. You are probably right. Why show up to see if he can win 800 when you can always sit home and jerk off to a 2003 Cat v. Griz football program

Kudos to you...and people wonder why this town sometimes sucks the big dick.... People would rather sit home and bitch and play the arm chair QB, instead of showing up and witnessing something special and perhaps having a hand in changing something for the better.

I will be there and root for Robin to get number 800.

Well, that's all well and good, I guess. I started watching the LG program back in the early eighties; even watched Annette Whitaker play. But I live in Wyoming nowadays and for me it's like a 600 mile round trip for me and besides I'm working monday night so you'd have to excuse me there as well. Wish more games were like in the good o' days when it was generally thursdays and saturdays mostly. Wish them luck, though.

I agree that Portland will be a very tough game. Would be a great win for the LG. Although it probably wouldn't qualify as a "good" loss. If not tomorrow, 800 will come soon enough, though.

How about Sac State tonight, though? Beat Oregon by 12. Oregon had averaged 122 points in their first two games including a 27 point win over Portland. Sac State is 3-1 after beating Cal State Northride, San Diego State, and Oregon. Their only loss is to undefeated Oregon State.

I would absolutely be there if I loved within 100 miles of Missoula. Robin deserves all the praise and thanks MONTANA fans can deliver.

I'll be there! Wouldn't miss it. This is exactly the type of game & opponent that Selvig's teams have done well against. Doesn't really matter to me which team wins, it's the level of competition & promise of a battle that makes attending this preseason game a no-brainer.
