It took Stieg and SDSU 8 years of "square peg-round hole", being "mediocre" and fluctuating between 7-9 wins and getting clowned by NDSU before they decided to emulate them completely and started seeing results. If they had Griz fan patience, he would've been shown the door years ago.

I'm not saying Bobby's gonna turn it around, but using SDSU and coach Stieg as a knock against Hauck is f u c k i n g hilarious and completely misses the forest for the trees.

Honestly. I've read this about six times now. And I still have no idea where you could possibly be going with this. Doesn't everyone, well maybe not you, but everyone else - want to better themselves? Unless you invent something, you kind of have to do that in the structure that exists. You know, achieving something, getting recognized, offered opportunities to achieve elsewhere, for more money? Do we still live in America?

As for Hauck, it's not a lifetime appointment. I don't care for him. But I can't recall reading anyone here thinking as such. But as I almost always say, reading is a skill. And I do understand that statement.

Wasn’t a success story for him at UNLV by any means… but who has? Joe Glenn failed at the next level but I’m pretty glad he was here for us when he was.
