Yes, it applies to an all green uniform on a green field also.4ugriz said:Would this also apply to teams like North Dakota who play with green uniforms, green helmets, and green turf? Portland St? Sac St? And didn't EWU use black uniforms when we last played them on their red field?
WOW ur right it is a MESS on TV.....try this in 2014, i adjusted the red/green tint...it changed the red to a mild hot pink...the red was the only thing that changed...it was much easier on the eyes to watch and looked a million times better...and it was also kinda funny seeing all the EWU players running around in hot pink...try it, its MUCH BETTER  :thumb:kemajic said:The players I have talked to that played on the red turf in Cheney said it did not affect their play because they rarely look down to the field during live play and hardly even notice its color. The background for uniforms is more the stadium, referees and opposing players. It was no big deal. But it is a mess for TV and for attendees in the stands; I have to think the money (in the case of FBS/BCS is driving this like it drives everything else.
thank god, why would anybody want to go east of missoula or west of frenchtown!clawman said:Sounds like those griz colored glasses block any vision past Frenchtown :shock:Grisly Fan said:They were? Golly I guess I just never cared enough to notice... Mea culpa.marceagfan5 said:Grisly Fan said:If you don't believe me then just compare their winning percentage pre-red turf vs. post. Big difference. I'm sure that they think it is purely a co-inky dink.
Ya its not like EWU was in the playoffs 4 of the prior 6 years before the red turf was installed...
Grisly Fan said:Its too bad that EWU can't see the value in keeping the game fair and have to resort to cheap tricks to gain an advantage.

agreed. the field is god awful. most likely the worst i have ever seen in person. but that's it. nothing more...nothing less. the eagles win because they have a good program. in fact, i would say that looking at their program, everything is pretty damn good EXCEPT for that field. no idea what they were thinking with that.... :?
