No More High Expecations Griz Fans

I live it Oregon. It is now fully legal to have high expectations. In fact I read in the Oregonian that there may be a "Pot stigma"! Oh the humanity.

But seriously, high expectations are the by-product of long term success. Consistent success is for the moment in the rearview mirror. Things will come back around but it would not be surprising to see a drop-off in game attendance. It may not appear to be as fashionable as it once was and so that clientele may fall away for a while.

Don't know about expectations, by I still have high hopes. I think this team is capable of winning all their remaining games, and I hope they will. Are my "expectations" too high? I don't think so. We just need for the "good Griz" to show up each time instead of the "oops griz."

But, in any case ... GO GRIZ! :egriz:

Attendance drop-off may be a blessing in disguise. How many times have the pedestrian band wagoners been lamented on here? Maybe the sudden loss of revenue will be a wake up call to the administration, who knows. All I know is that true fans will stick with the program and proudly wear their Griz gear regardless of reputation or on field success. Those are the people I want to have around.

Please don't use the :egriz: emoticon. rimrock griz has full and exclusive rights to that emoticon. It tells those posters with a brain which posts to summarily ignore. ;)

I think the griz football team that's the players and coaches has to deal with one of the toughest crowds at least in the FCS when it comes to expectations. My point of this post was to say that regardless of how the Griz perform I'll always be a die hard fan, trust me I'm a Miami Dolphins fan it's tough but I stand by my teams through thick and thin. Sure I would love to see The Griz shine again as national champs, but realistically we've only won 2 titles. I don't think the Griz football team deserves so much pressure. My question to all the so called die hard griz fans is it we went 1 -9 would you still watch/go to the games ?
Great question? I've missed only a couple of home games in the last decade. I've hit some road games. The game that pissed me off was the Coastal Carolina home playoff game. I drove 10 hours on ice however there were many fans who had a more difficult trip than myself. Time and distance create a variable that is difficult to evaluate... :egriz:

Forward thinking is something you won't be accused of "Tex". Looks like you still have sand in your vagina from our last encounter? Oh well, at least you aren't giving CDA a hand job on the board every day... :egriz:
