What are those of us going to do that used this as our way to watch the ROOT broadcasts.

All games need to be streamed

In the same boat but I believe that Root Sports may have their streaming app up and running.
https://northwest.rootsports.com/root-sports-app/ but it appears you still have to have some sort of cable subscription so not totally sure what the options will be.

That page is dated from 2017, so maybe these have changed. But of note from their FAQ page:

• you do need a paid cable subscription with Root Sports as there are no "streaming-only" purchase options

• you can have a cable subscription that carries Root Sports but if it doesn't also allow/include streaming, you're still out of luck

• still doesn't help a lot of out-of-staters because the geographic footprint is pretty small and only includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, and western Idaho

I am traveling out of town, will I still be able to stream the games on my phone or computer?
Unfortunately, currently you have to be within ROOT SPORTS geographic footprint in order to stream the programming

I like the production of Root but it’s not worth going back to cable.

I’m pretty upset about losing Audience as well. I can get Root Sports up here with cable, but really don’t want to have to go back after cutting the cord!
