Ouch... from what I read the CBI goes after a lot of teams that didn't make the NIT, so it doesn't fill up as fast..so maybe we'll end up in the CBI instead.

I thought we had an invite to the CIT according to some article (forgot where)? Did we turn it down or was it one of those things if you wait too long it gets pulled?

So Idaho, Air Force, North Dakota (RPI of 271), end up in the CIT, and the Griz might end up in no tournament... I really hope we get an invite to the CBI.

Not having much luck finding anything on the CBI though. Hopefully their official website will have the bracket soon.

I guess it's the Estes tourney in Anaconda for the Griz now. I know in years past when the men or women don't have any postseason games they all go and play in the Estes.

I found no updates on the CBI yet. It does say all teams must have a better than .500 season though.

The Griz could have taken a bid from the lesser known tournaments but wanted to see if they got an NIT, which was the prudent thing to do. They may still get a CBI bid, guess we will know shortly.

I think I saw the Great West champion automatically went to the CIT.
