Dudes knocking Oregon are just bitter about Anderson. Madison is a pretty great place, but Corvallis and the Oregon coast aren't the ghetto
Love! the Oregon coast.

+2. Definitely put floating the Rogue River on your bucket list. The drive up the coastal highway after you get done with that slice of heaven is just icing on the cake.

Agree - Masison > Corvalis

Madison is one of the best college towns I have been to.

Oregon St. has now lost a coach and has successfully filled their vacancy in less than a week. What the hell is taking so damn long, Haslam?!?!?!?!

Been there, done that! Might do it again some day. :D

Ha! Some of us are so impatient (me included) It's not a matter of just picking someone you like and calling it a done deal. I'm sure all the coaches moving around right now doesn't make it any easier.

I don't know much about Haslam but some on this site I trust say he will make the right decision. Let's hope that's the case.

I think it is funny that he believes the OSU search is anything like the UM search...

Seven figure base salaries get quicker acceptances.

There is very little discussion of Beau Baldwin on CSU message boards. In fact, there is considerable negativity about hiring any FCS coach. Of course, all of that could mean zilch.
Trying to compete with UO, OSU could never have justified hiring from FCS to their fans/boosters.

OSU Search - They lose the longest tenured coach in the PAC 12 who was signed through the 2019 season, OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!

Talk about being caught off guard.

Haslam had to know that Delaney was going to leave, weeks before he made the anouncment. He has had several weeks to put the feelers out there to potential coaches. I know I am impatient, but man this seems like it is taking forever!

Pretty sure Haslam has known since August that Mick would be done this season.

Pretty sure you are correct. I think Delaney said on the coache's show that him, Haslam and Engstrom had a sit down in August.

Now we just need a rejection from Colorado State.

Yes, let's keep a coach in the league that has owned us! Are you crazy?! I hoped he would get the OSU job and now I hope he gets the CSU job. We need him out of the BSC.

You guys knocking the Oregon Coast.. WTF..

Hit up the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival in Feb. That my friends is a blast.

Mt. Angel October festival

Junction City Scandanavian Festival,

Or hit Mt. Bachelor and go skiing, jump in the rig and head west and be at the beach knocking back some Rougue brew. All within a easy day!

Skip the Oregon Country Fair in Eugene. I'm not a hippie pot smoker so that crowd does not appeal to my family and I.

Oregon Jamboree is a bunch of fun in Sweet Home.
I guess Cape Blanco in Southern Oregon does a cool country music event. Braid Paisley this year.

Coolest Resturant, Camp 18 on the way to Astoria!

PDX no thanks to many people!

Corvallis, dude.. Hit the water front, Sky High Brewery, Block 18 and many other eateries and pubs. On campus hit Local Boys for Hawaian food!! Like coffe hit up Dutch Bros for Coffee.

Hearing CSU is looking elsewhere.

FCS coaches not in big demand for FBS jobs unless they also have FBS experience. He has none and is thus not a front runner anywhere FBS
