Let's take it easy with the race talk. If you want to have a discussion on the effect's of the African American culture, then take it to the random isht or the politics board, please.

Dang, I feel like I've just been cyber-spanked! That's kind of like a bouncer in a bar saying "take it outside" gentleman.

The thing with the baggy shorts is that they actually can get too baggy like many have stated, causing a turnover because the ball gets caught in the numerous yards of material being used in one pair of shorts.

But I guess that's just the way kids' mentality are these days, they'd rather go for a look rather than their actual play on the court. This "look at me" attitude players have these days just makes me sick. It seems the team concept has gone out the window and the likes of Nike and these uniforms doesn't help the cause any.

Baggy shorts are loose shorts, so a hard bounced dibble between your legs would brush off the shorts, thats it.

Also how often do players dribble like that? Sure it happens, especially by PGs protecting the ball, but its not super common.

There's a much better change for a TO to happen if the ball hits a guys leg instead of his shorts, regardless what kind of shorts. Give it up, people wear what they like and guys playing at the college level (and higher) are not affected by baggy or small shorts. Its not a big deal.

I visit this site seeking information about Grizzly athletics which has good coverage. However on most visits I am also blessed with the wisdom and knowledge (and perspective) about topics ranging from popular culture to racial equality. While all are entitled to their opinions I am not sure all are qualified to share those opinions.

PS. The Hip Hop culture is credited as the influence for everything "wrong" with the NBA. Rap and Hip Hop are not the same thing.
