Last years opener was 97 F with a lot of fans needing to leave for shade and wondering what the hell those lights were for. I think a lot of feedback trickled back.

That was the first game I ever brought my kids to, sat near the top of the NEZ. Couldn't believe how many people bailed "oh it's too hot". Holy hell people, you are sitting and watching your Griz, not doing burpees in a tin foil suit in the sauna! I've sat there watching the Griz at 15 degrees (that is in American temps, when you guys will join the rest of the planet is another story, lol) and at 97. Montana Tough is taking a hit when "it's too hot" makes people run like they just saw a 2 for 1 fabric softener special at Albertson's.
The lady sitting next to us would have required assistance for heat prostration and dehydration had she not left a halftime, so go ahead and put her down hotshot. We stayed, but needed a lot of juice after the game, especially my 9 year old grandson. Just cooked. Night game would have been idyllic.

The UNI game is being listed as the number 1 FCS matchup next year. Unless we are being considered for an ESPN matchup, the money involved for being televised on local networks is not enough for moving this game off of a night time slot in my opinion.
Huge game, Bobby’s return, epic match up under the lights!
Go Griz!

We got some football about to start:

I feel bad for all the Griz players with long trips home after these late night home games.

Goddamn grownups! :|
