There's a reason Bobby prefers not to play freshmen at most any position (if he can help it). Every position takes time and repetitive practice to master. I'm not saying we don't have some good young backs, just that they still have a lot to learn and they will have deficiencies.

RBs also have to be able to pass block, and that's where freshman aren't always the best.

Another reason Knight being out is a big loss. He was excellent at protecting the quarterback. Awesome blocker.
