Griz Volleyball team win's both games and qualifies for the BSC tournament.

Griz Football spanks Northern Colorado on the road 35 to zip.

Griz Soccer team wins the Big Sky Championship with a really young team.

This after Alexa Coyle, their best offensive player decided to turn pro in July and forgo her final year (good for her by the way) and Claire Howard graduated, the prior year all conference goalkeeper of the year. She was replaced by Carmellia Xu who as a freshman goalkeeper was the tourney MVP and had 11 shutouts this year including two at the tournament.

I just hope we can keep Coach Citowicki long term because bigger schools are going to be looking at him. All he has done in 4 years is either win the regular season title or the tournament title five times.

I watched the last 10 minutes of the game and they were talking about him and his accomplishments. That was my first thought as well….how much longer will he stay?

I worry about losing Cheeto as well, but that's the nature of the beast at mid-majors. The good news is he has built a dominant program that hopefully will be able to sustain itself with momentum. Xu is only a freshman, so she will be a rock in the program.
