mtgrizrule - Unfortunately for McDaniels the way he handled the Cutler deal will probably haunt him for a long time. Cutler, while young and made a few on-field mistakes, was probably the best QB Denver has seen since Elway. He was better than Griese, Ferotte, and Plummer. He was mobile, had an arm to make any play he wanted, and was fairly intelligent. He tried to make too many plays with his arm at times, trying to put the ball in places that were of poor choosing, but he was the best QB Denver has had in quite some time.. so then you get this new coach in who tries to trade for another QB behind his back, who is very unproven at best, and Cutler's just supposed to be okay with it. Cassell, while may have been a Belichick QB, is a lifelong benchwarmer until last season when Brady was hurt. I think Cutler probably got too twisted out of shape, but McDaniels did a pretty a-hole thing, and that's where I lost respect for the guy. Hell, he can't even make his own persona, he acts just like Belichick including the cut-off sweatshirt. Marshall.. guy's a primadonna. Great receiver, but again, in the grand scheme of things, he's unproven. He has a history of run-ins with the law, poor attitude, but thinks he should be paid like Boldin and Fitzgerald, which he is not. Then there's Orton and his limp-arm.. great at Purdue, but he's no Drew Brees. I'm pretty skeptical on the Broncos this year, and moreso of McDaniels. But I'll root for them nonetheless.
