Nice game Cutler

I bet Chicago fans are so happy in their investment after week 1. He handed the game to Green Bay. At least Denver and GreenBay fans are happy this week. I hope every game is like this for Cutler this year. I am not hating on the Bears, but just do not like seeing him or anyone whine their way into something.

Good luck Chicago. McDaniels did not want him because of his turnovers being so costly. McDaniels is looking to be right on that so far.

Didn't Cutler lead Chicago down inside 3-4 minutes left? Chicago's "D" gives up some big plays on GB's drive.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the outcome (hit my 3 game parlay for $240-had GB @ -3.5) but I believe Chicago will be decent.

I loved how Cutler played that game. All that was missing was an OT Coin toss with him declaring, "We want the ball and we're gonna score!" Then again, I am a Packer-Backer.

4 INT's??? F---ing ridiculous. And Pitt next week..... crap. I give him a pass against the Steelers, but if he throws 1 pick against Seattle, I vote cut Cutler :evil:

Cutler = Douche
Orton = Douche
McDaniels = Douche

I don't know how McDaniels and Broncos fans can be happy about not having Cutler anymore.. he was 10x the QB that Orton is.

Man Titleist, what is wrong with a young coach trying to set a tone and establish a team with his stamp?

I think the whole situation should have been better handled by both, but it was not, and it is what it is now. The Broncos looked much better than I thought they would in week 1. Granted, I do not expect them to be world beaters this year, but early indications are good for the Broncos.

I think McDaniels got off on the wrong foot with the whole Cutler, then Marshall ordeal. Nonetheless, I think it is too early to be so harsh on McDaniels. I personally do not care who the coach is, how old they are, etc, I think the coach, gm, and owner should have much more say on the team than any player. Cutler did not have to like it, but should have respected the situation and his new coach more than he did. Just shut up and play ball damnit!

Also to add, a few in Denver felt Cutler was not the type of qb for McDaniels system, and very resistant to change in doing things a new way. The both have a new start, and thus far it looks better for the Broncos and McDaniels than Cutler. Best of luck to both teams, Cutler, and McDaniels.

It was a Joke.

Let's see....

Vikings - old Brett Favre
Bears - Cutler
Lions - Rookie Stafford

Packers - Aaron Rodgers!!! I like our chances.

mtgrizrule - Unfortunately for McDaniels the way he handled the Cutler deal will probably haunt him for a long time. Cutler, while young and made a few on-field mistakes, was probably the best QB Denver has seen since Elway. He was better than Griese, Ferotte, and Plummer. He was mobile, had an arm to make any play he wanted, and was fairly intelligent. He tried to make too many plays with his arm at times, trying to put the ball in places that were of poor choosing, but he was the best QB Denver has had in quite some time.. so then you get this new coach in who tries to trade for another QB behind his back, who is very unproven at best, and Cutler's just supposed to be okay with it. Cassell, while may have been a Belichick QB, is a lifelong benchwarmer until last season when Brady was hurt. I think Cutler probably got too twisted out of shape, but McDaniels did a pretty a-hole thing, and that's where I lost respect for the guy. Hell, he can't even make his own persona, he acts just like Belichick including the cut-off sweatshirt. Marshall.. guy's a primadonna. Great receiver, but again, in the grand scheme of things, he's unproven. He has a history of run-ins with the law, poor attitude, but thinks he should be paid like Boldin and Fitzgerald, which he is not. Then there's Orton and his limp-arm.. great at Purdue, but he's no Drew Brees. I'm pretty skeptical on the Broncos this year, and moreso of McDaniels. But I'll root for them nonetheless.

As a whole, we are on the same page, very well stated by the way. I just see the Cutler/McDaniels portion of this slightly different, and I agree both were to blame. However, Cutler's antics upset me more than McDaniel's did. I believe with every organization in every league, the coach in charge of the players, and has more power than the players. They do not have to like it, but should accept and respect it. I am okay with Cutler being upset about it, but to take it the extremes he did was beyond ridiculous. To me, he came off as a whiny spoiled asshole.

I have reservations with McDaniels as well, and at this stage am really questioning hard the logic behind hiring him to begin with. However, at I have to think his way is different, and have to give him a chance to prove if he is effective or not over the next few years.
