NFL roster cuts tracker for Griz / Kittens

Tripp and Pholes are out. That leaves 4 Griz on 53 man rosters. Been a long time since the numbers been so low.

I know this is extra but I thought I would throw out Lorenzo Jerome, from St Francis, who was the best player on the field last year against the Griz made the 49ers roster.

KPAX reported on the 5:30 news that Osweiller was cut today, but the Browns still owe him 16 million for this year.

I know he is not a Griz or Cat alum but he is a Montana kid, so some recognition is warranted.

Brock priced himself out of the NFL, and will be looked at as a bust. Nothing against him, but that's the truth...

Then again, QB's might as well travel through the Bermuda Triangle instead of going to Cleveland, because it's the same thing.

Denver only has to pay the league minimum based on his years of service. Cleveland is on the hook for over $15 million of his salary at Denver. Really a no brainer for Denver to get somebody with experience in their offense while Lynch's shoulder heals.

Sounds like injuries really took a toll on many former Griz this year. Beat writers for Cleveland are surprised about Holmes being released. Heck his stats were better than the first round pick.

I would expect him to get picked up.

One amazing thing is....the Browns have 4 qbs on their roster. Basically Holmes and Colt were released in favor of qbs.
