Could we have scheduled any tougher?

8/30/14 @Wyoming

9/27/14 Northern Colorado
10/4/14 @North Dakota

11/15/14 @ Southern Utah
11/22/14 Montana State

Looks like you have some open dates, I believe USU is looking for another opponent next year. I wish we could schedule somthing.

Is there an explanation somewhere for how conference scheduling is done now? It's not making sense to me, and I must say I liked the old days better when we played everyone every year.

It's a good thing the coaching staff is top caliber and will have the Griz ready to "run" the same plays over and over on 1st and 2nd down to set up the deep bomb attempt on 3rd and 4th and long. And the defense will be prepared to stop the passing and running game and QB draws will never work against hangover's game plan.

Don't worry. 9/13 will be a D-2 or D-3, and 9/20 will probably be NAIA so 2-2 is realistic

No only the cats would schedule two lower division teams in the same season.

Well at least we won't hear "you haven't played anybody".

I hope we don't hear "you haven't beaten anybody". :-|

With this coaching staff there is absolutely NO CHANCE that we make the playoffs next year. Put in a Division III school and we will never get 7 FCS wins. We were really lucky this year, we looked like crap for about 4 games that we ended up winning. Delaney is NOT a head coach, give him his 75% of $160,000 and let him enjoy the pasture. He didn't step forward and do a great thing. He enhanced his retirement by probably 100% and was RE's choice. He never would have gotten the job if he had to apply and compete for it.

If you're convinced they have no chance, why bother showing up then> Guess we just forfeit the whole season then.

Those final 3 games are brutal. Even assuming we start the year off well, finishing is gonna be tough. We could finish next year just like the Cats finished this year.

The Griz will have veteran skill position players all over the field and a very good quarterback coming back. Offense will be able to move the ball and score a lot of points next season. Coaches have recruited quality kids on the defensive side of the ball (especially the secondary) I can't see how they could be any worse next season. Special teams are not good. Going to be tough to get to seven wins but I wouldn't bet against em.

Ouch. That is brutal... Even if the additional two games are cupcakes.
