Next Up - Sac State

What a Jekyll and Hyde game. The first half looked to be a blow out, but the suck st zone defense sure changed the game. Two to go!
GO GRIZ!!!!

Cravens so confused that Mike O isn't Defensive player of the year this year! Hahahahahahahaha! Poor guy. He had Mike on the post game show and kept saying it even when Mike was polite in telling him that it happened last year...

I've wondered all year why our opponents don't play zone D all game.

Teams have tried and Pridgett did well. I think Anderson also would do better, as well as Morehead. The good thing about UM is the personnel on the floor with offense. Defense used to be UMs strong suit..they do need to tighten that without fouling and tomorrow night is going to be a rough one, no matter whom they play. Teams know how to beat UM but knowing and doing are two different things.

Cravens seems to have lowered it down a notch...

I'd argue it was more Graves and.....Number 23 (can't remember his name) catching fire from 3. A couple of those were breakdowns, but sometimes dudes just make shots. We only scored 3 less points in the second half. So it isn't like we were befuddled by it.

Moorehead wth 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Rorie came alive with his mid-range jumpers on 2d half, had 4 assists and 1 TO. Pridgett was 8-9. Falls had 4 TO, but is playing more under control. Manuel was 3-6 from 3 and had 7 assists. Anderson played very well. Oguine with 19 points.

UM had 21 assists. Shot 9-11 free throws, with the 2 best shooters each missing 1.

I liked how the Griz played and thought they were consistent. The biggest problem was the SS was very hot from 3 a couple times, including in the 11-0 run. The 2 guys were 5-8 and 4-5, or 9-13. They had 7 and 8 rebounds too.

Hope Dorsey is okay. He didn't limp off badly.

I thought a huge number of close calls went against the Griz. Moorehead and others played great defense on some drives, and the replay showed no fouls but were called anyway.

Sac St had a game under their belt and nothing to lose which allowed them to play lose and easy. Griz played very well at times but got tight a few times too. I’m glad they got one under their belt and I expect them to be loose and fluid tomorrow.

Colter thanks for post game video. I especially liked Coach Travis' comments about the location of the BSC tourney. Come on Big Sigh, wake -up and let the reg season champ host this thing! Once again coach is correct.

TD speaks well about the absurdity of not hosting the tournament

Anderson is growing up right before our eyes.

But not being able to put your foot on the throat of an outmatched opponent is going to bite us in the ass before this tournament is over.
