Next Up - Sac State

Griz up 40-28 at half. Not sure what happened on the last defensive possession - just let a Sac player walk his way into an open three in the corner. Kind of a weird breakdown.
 
Great half for the Griz! Good shooting percentage and great ball security! Keep your feet on the pedal and on their throat!
 
I wonder if Oguine got the refs to review his 2 pointer that he thinks was a 3. He was talking to the refs about that a couple of times towards the end of the half. Hope they look at it.

Yeah, I was shocked to see Frey as 2nd team over Oguine. Maybe Frey got extra points for how talented of an actor he is with all the flopping . Oguine shouldv'e been 2nd team and Frey probably deserves an academy award instead of 2nd team.

Absolutely! Would love to see the Griz come out with something like a 10-2 run, but will be happy if they just ease away in the first 4-6 minutes.

Looks like Oguine got his wish for a replay then. Glad he got them to review it he was trying to convince the refs to take another look at his shot the last 2 mins off the game.
 
Man, one frustration I have with this team is there inability to finish off a first half. It seems like they let teams make moves in the last 2-3 minutes of the first half. The Griz usually seem to come out strong in the second half so its not usually a problem, but dang, instead of demoralizing a team going into halftime, they let them go to the break with momentum.

Glad to see Anderson with some great productive minutes!
 
GRIZ still have yet to run their lob play to Oguine or Pridgett. I have a feeling, we will be seeing that in the 2nd half.
 
Rorie slapping the floor after a 3! Yeah, baby! Then moorehead with a 3! 53-36 Griz after Sac had got it down to 7!

As is the case in most basketball games as teams go on little runs. Ya year DeCuire and other coaches always say basketball is game of runs. It sure is. The Griz have done a pretty good job this year not letting the runs of other teams go too long and often answer with a nice run of their own.

As I'm typing this the Griz are on a nice run of their own and back up by 17.
