Cal State Northridge out of Big West Conference is 1-2 on the season. They had some trouble with opener Menlo College but prevailed 88-64. Lost to Lyola Marymont 81-70 and USC 75-69.

Their 2002/2003 record is 14-15 (8-10 in league) and 2001/2002 record is 12-16 (11-7 in league).

Appears they average 76 ppg and give up 73 ppg. Averages for 3 point is 32%, FG @ 44%, FT @ 61%, REB @ 32 ppg, fouls @ 23 ppg, turnovers @ 18 ppg, blocks @ 3 ppg & steals @ 13 ppg.

They appear to be a stronger second half team.

From teh Missoulian today it sounds liek they rely a lot on a trapping defense and getting turnovers. Unfortunately we turn teh ball over a lot. Also I think the paper listed 4 of their starting 5 average double figures, so I would assume they are not real deep off the bench, but that is just speculation. Size wise I think we matched up pretty well, with them just a little taller.

If we can break the trap consistently, and avoid t/o's we should handle them easily. If not, it will be a long night.
