Well, that performance was just too flat.
The first half went well enough, in FG, 3Pt and FT,
Griz were 46%, 80% and 50%
The second half, geez, what happened in the Locker Room?
Griz went 35%, 27%, 67%.
High scorer Walter Wright, got half of his 18 points from the FT line, Breunig more than half of his 13 points from the FT line. GFeller had another one of those inexplicable nights, just 1 of 7 FG and 1 of 7 3pt. Jack Lopez did shine, with 5 of 8 FG and 5 of 8 3pt. Bears got 19 points off of turnovers. Breunig and Oguine must have accounted for half of those.
There was something else going on there, likely off court. Like a death was announced in the Locker Room, or something. There was no floor leadership at all, and DeCuire was just going through the motions as well. It wasn't just an "off night" in the second half against a 7-11 conference team, that lost those seven games in its most recent 8 outings.
