Don't know. Was that the tournament that NAU came in second? Or was that the CIT?IdaGriz01 said:You make your point. Actually, I think it was Stanford, but I admit I'm not sure. Still, an appearance in the post-season does have some recruiting value even if fans in general have no clue. A UM win and a Weber L (at EWU) on Saturday gives UM the league title...
But you are correct it really does not matter.
It matters a lot. If we can beat Northern Colorado and EWU can beat Weber we would be the Big Sky Champs. What does that mean? Not much in the tournament but if we were to lose in the tournament the regular season champions get an NIT bid. That is important for recruiting and also bragging rights as being the regular season champions. I would sooner go to the Big Dance but any post season tournament would be just fine with me.

I wonder why Boehning entered the game in the middle of the first half, the score close, and no one in foul trouble? Breunig under 30 minutes. Keeping him fresh. Lopez with only 12 minutes, the 8th most. Dunn minutes increasing, to 23 last night.
Mouse, I thought you and others were saying that at this time of the year, it was important to stay with the small rotation and just go with your 5, 6 or 7 best players. Why isn't Travis doing that? What is he playing so many players? Why did he start Dunn last night? Why is he messing with his rotation?

I believe you meant "Power Memorial" on E. 61st...now long gone but it was a bball powerhouse whose teachers were the same as those at Butte Central...Irish Christian Brothers....the gym wasn't much for such high powered playes from "Lew" to Mullins..PlayerRep said:Mousegriz said:PlayerRep said:Mousegriz said:Lots of good depth development last night. No, I didn't read your post. What did it say? Nope, never played the game, except for Bozeman high and city league. Played many years with the likes of Jack Gillespie, Brent Wilson, Bob Howard and Gale Berry. Played against the likes of Ray Howard and Kirk Johnson. Played a lot of games in the Powell Memorial gym in NYC, but not with Lew.
