Another nice win, especially on a night when Breunig and Wright were off their games. Wright was sick. Don't think he practiced in the last day or two. Breunig was getting banged around hard, got a bit frustrated, and didn't get his offense or his free throws going. 7 boards, tho. Oguine and 3Feller had their games going. GFeller kept the Griz in it early, with tremendous shooting. He had 7 boards too, and was playing 4 some of the time.
UM had only 7 assists. 16 turnovers. Wright had 6 turnovers including 4 early. 1 assist He gets a pass for playing when sick. He had a couple nice buckets in the 2d half.
Cats came out shooting hot again, and then faded. UM defense wasn't great early, but improved. I liked the Griz effort.
55 fouls. 31 on Cats. 36 fouls in 2d half. The refs just killed the momentum of game. Practically ruined the game. This game didn't deserve 55 fouls. This helped keep the crowd out of the game, in my view. 6522 in attendance. Robison for Cats fouled out in 12 minutes of play.
Schillinger and Green were at the game. The dance team had a nice halftime performance. The dance and cheer squads had their game faces on, from the get-go. Very good.
