Mitch Strohman is a terrific play by play guy. He'd be a great replacement for Mick. Nice and tough W for the GRIZ.

Would have like to have seen a dominating win but learning hownt grind out a win in OT is a really important lesson for this team that likely will come in handy later

I liked how well Wright ran the team. He has improved a lot in that. He sure in the hell knows who is where. I think he can average 5 plus assists per game. I am sure Travis would like to see him at 7+ assists per game.

This is the toughest conference road trip of the year, in my opinion. It is an advantage to get it out of the way early in conference play. I guarantee, NAU will continue to improve with as young as they are. I'd hate to see them at NAU at the end of conference play.
Now, the GRIZ have to get a lot rest for the Southern Utah game.

Not a particularly pretty game by the Griz, but they showed some grit. I said at the start of the second OT that I was worried fatigue would begin to become an issue playing at 7K. But if anything it was NAU who looked gassed.
Griz must take better care of the BB. You can't turn it over 18, 19 times. We were fortunate that NAU had tired legs and missed a lot of late FTs.
Huuuuuuge game by DubDub today. He did it all.
Great game by 3Feller. We obviously need him to open up the inside.
All in all, a road win at a difficult place to play. 1-0 and onto SUU!!
