Back at home... things to work on.

Like building up Boehning/Dejong and freeing up guys for open 3's. The GRIZ were terrible at getting open 3's against SJSU.
For his height, Boehning is surprisingly ... passive. DeJong is an aggressive defender but can't hit a FT. What's up with that?

One thing I noticed in watching the Boise game in person and SJSU on TV is that Gfeller doesn't seem to be squaring up to the basket on many of his 3s, which may account for his low percentage (3 or 13 or 23%) so far this year.

In the past, we've seen how deadly he can be from outside. And having him be "on" can make other team's defenses so much more honest.

He does hustle a lot and contribute in many ways, and I do expect him to get back on track....

The good is, he is always ready to shoot. I also noticed he is not going straight up with his shot consistently. He is leaning or fading on many of his shots. A pure shooter like him has no need to do the leaning and fading crap.

That's essentially what I meant and didn't say very well. This year Gfeller has often been moving laterally when he's casting off one of his long shots, and that spells trouble. When he gets set and goes straight up, he can be deadly.
