Big win on the road when the GRIZ didn't play their best basketball! ELEVEN STRAIGHT and counting!

Oh, and the bsc officiating is just AWFUL. This conference will NEVER, EVER, EVER win a Tournament game if they continue to have shitty officiating like this. Looking cross at someone 38 feet from the basket isn't a foul. Cmon Foolerton. Your conference is a joke, but the teams and fans deserve better.

Was curious what BCN was saying about the game. They seem more concerned that Mick accidentally messed up Fish's name than talking about the game... weird place over there sometimes considering they have a pretty talented team (especially guards) and they're a lot better & more exciting to watch than they have been in recent history.

Yeah, that's curious, especially after having to sit through 2 hours of that douche they have call games. He and I were watching different games, evidently.

Is that the cookie monster guy from the choade press conference?

Yeah, cat fans can never call our guys homers, those two douchebags were horrible. Btw, Hall is a good shooter but Ogiune is a more complete player.

Just got back from the game. Had a great seat in the middle of the Bobcat season ticket holders area. Fun game to watch -- and I actually tossed out a decent pre-game prediction. Had pizza around 5 with a large group of friends who are all MSU fans; I predicted that the Griz guard play would be the deciding factor down the stretch in a close game.

Like some others on this board, I thought the officiating wasn't exactly stellar, but both teams played hard and the Griz stepped up when they had to -- the late 3 ball from Oguine pretty much sucked the air out of the Fieldhouse.

That must mean PR was not in the house.

The most impressive part of the game was the composure of the Griz the last 5 minutes of the first half. The Griz were being pushed around and no fouls were being called by the refs. The Griz totally held their composure when any other team would have lost it and started throwing elbows. The refs totally jobbed the Griz at the end of the first half and we over came that to beat the CHUMPS to the east once again! Sigh and yawn!

Of both halves, really.

You could see clearly in both games today how critical it is to finish in college basketball. The LG and men's games were basically mirror images of one another. In the women's game, the LG seemingly had complete control, but then simply fell apart in the last 8 minutes. In the men's game it was the cats doing that. The Griz could have easily folded on the road. Congrats to TDC and his team for gutting it out when they were not playing their best ball.

This "rivalry" is barely that anymore, wasn't it a year or two ago MSU didn't beat us in any sport all year?

I guess the women's win will be a band-aid for a while though.

The men's and women's game weren't similar at all. The LG didn't have control of the game in the 2d. The Cats had stepped up their D big time in the 2d half, were bothering the LG, and finally took control at the end. The Cat men were not in control of the game. The Griz were in foul trouble, had good players on the bench and couldn't get going. The Cats shot great in most of the first game, and the beginning of the 2d half, but eventually didn't shoot as well. The Griz played nicely later in the game. I agree that the Griz men battled the whole game. I agree that the finishes were important in both games.

OFFS.

The cats led by 8 with 12 to go in the men's game. The LG led by 6 with 12 to go. Both seemed in control. Both lost. That's similar to everyone except you, pr.

3 or 4 years ago, I believe, because it was before the whole Brawl of the Wild contest thing for all sports. And actually, I think they did get us once, in the final match of the year, in men's tennis or some damn thing. But otherwise we won every contest in every sport. #lilbro

When the Cats led by 8, they were not in control, and that lead went to 1 in a 110-second period of time. MSU had that 8 point lead for 6 seconds and then again for about 30 seconds.

It was in Rodeo. Our horse had the flu.

The better team won both games.

I wanna marry Lindsay Stockton.

Ha. I was impressed by how she kept control of the pace of the game, just as her father used to do.

She had one assist that sort of like one of her dad's no-look passes was pretty amazing, too.
