Well, if we had replaced 30 3pt shots with 15, and substituted 15 FG attempts, the final score would have been 63-53, Idaho, instead of 63-58. I'd take the 3 ptrs in that game.EverettGriz said:Yeah, sometimes the flow in the game precludes a team from executing their plan. Credit Idaho. But I can GUARANTEE Travis doesn't want his team shooting 30 3s. In fact, he said as much on today's pregame show.UMGriz75 said:Hard to believe a coach and a team would be on completely separate game plans. It was a good thing they did, as I noted on that game thread, the 30% 3pt shooting was the equivalent of 45% FG, and the Griz were a longs ways from shooting 45%.EverettGriz said:TDC doesn't want this team shooting that many 3s. It wasn't the gameplan.

If we had shot only FGs, our final score would have been 54.EverettGriz said::?UMGriz75 said:Well, if we had replaced 30 3pt shots with 15, and substituted 15 FG attempts, the final score would have been 63-53, Idaho, instead of 63-58. Yes, I know, something else "might" have happened ... :roll:grizindabox said:I think the thing you overlook with a team that shoot's a ton of 3's is they are usually less aggressive on the offensive end and will have less free throws and force less fouls.UMGriz75 said:Well, if we had replaced 30 3pt shots with 15, and substituted 15 FG attempts, the final score would have been 63-53, Idaho, instead of 63-58. But, based on what actually did happen, and math ...
Cool your jets and take it home. You don't need to bring that crap to every thread ...grizindabox said:I was not just talking about that game...but the philosophy of being a team that shoots a lot of triples....glad that didn't go over your head...
