I suspect what we saw was Travis spending the week orienting to a "3 pt" game strategy. Few teams have so many 3 pt players. If they all shot their best on the same night, we'd be scoring 150 points, but, alas, 'tis not so.cmtgrizzly said:Don't lose too much confidence grizzly journal. Idaho was always a possibility with this team. They are not a consistent team when it comes to shooting. When they are hot they will win.
But, in running the routes all week for three point play and trying to develop a coordinated inside strategy as defenders start to come out, I think the week was perhaps "too much all at once," at practice and the FG skills and plays simply got rusty. You'd could see that on some of the bobbled passes, the receiver wasn't "quite" ready on a number of plays in trying to get the basketball inside, and that looked like they simply hadn't practiced them all week.
