Next up 1/21 vs. Idaho

Not a lot of urgency being shown by Griz...lots of passing with less than 1 and half minutes left with a 7 point deficit..

The good news is that this is not typical of this team...The bad news is that UM did not play a team game.

We had no business being in this game. You can't play ball for 13 out of 40 minutes and hope to win. It's a shock that they were even in the game at the end. Go get the Eagles next game Griz. Come out with some fire this time!

Two long dry spells. Just can't have those obviously. Very good play and very bad play. There was definitely a "three point strategy," and it failed tonight. But, when this team is shooting them, it makes all the difference. With this group, it is a worth a try. Travis did the right thing with lots of substitutions to break the dry spell in the first half. Impressive courage.

I'd say if this game was played over again, UM could win easily, just simply with different odds of the baskets falling. "Team" play? Yeah, did seem a little off, but that seemed like a result of the dry spell, not the cause.

"Intensity." That seemed to be missing among the upcoming players we hoped would provide it.

Final FG %, 32%. Doesn't matter what you do if you can't make the basic basket.

3ptrs? 9 of 30, 30%. Almost half of UM's points, compared to 56 attempted FGs (making 18).
