Great W, what a great performance down the stretch. Something that will not stand out to most, but Gfeller is adding to his game. He had at worse, 3 assists. All of which was him creating for teammates with quick passing and/or ball handling. He is starting to contribute even when his shooting is not there. He also plays pretty consistently good defense.

Mick and Travis just talking about exactly that in postgame.

I missed that...what was the gist of it?

Und coach looked a little pissed after the game... Final! GRIZ 85 and under 81!! GO GRIZ!!!!

He acted like a dick to Travis after the game.

I don't think Travis is well liked among his fellow BSC basketball coaches....
I'm with you on that. I do love T.D.'s fire. Big win today. GO GRIZ!!!!

I suppose TD is seen by some as an upstart, having too much success right away without "having paid his dues."

Mick commented that Gfeller is things that don't show up on that stat sheet and playing a stronger floor game. Travis commented how key it is for Brandon to do other things other than being a 3 point shooter. It is good to see him contribute when his shot is not going in. I did not hear more of the comment due to some bad audio on my computer.

Oh, I thought you meant he commented on what a jerk the North Dakota coach was at the end of the game... Shucks, no juicy stuff like that.

Yeah, other than his poor shooting (again) Gfeller played well in terms of defense and teamwork.

One player who is puzzling is Krslovic. He's taken steps back from last year, and wonder why. Personally I'd like to see DeJong get a few more minutes to see what he can do, but maybe there's reasons that's not happening.

Cuz all he does is win.

TD alluded to the "odd" circumstances. He noted that Montana was not allowed onto the court for practice Friday until 7 p.m. Was told that the women's volleyball team needed it all afternoon for practice... "which is odd," said TD, "because volleyball isn't even in season." Then mentioned just what others observed about the post-game non-handshake-handshake.

TD is a great coach and person. He's passionate, objective about basketball, and is very complimentary about all programs in the Big Sky. But he won't back down to anything or anyone. I highly respect that. His attitude rubs off on his players... which is truly gold standard. This was a great road win. Credit to the Griz for not backing down... not giving up.

Martin Breunig had perhaps his best overall game as a Montana Grizzly (which is saying something). Wow. Go Griz.

Another nice road win. Not many teams will sweep that trip.

And nodak's coach is a little pussy. That was some weak shit, and if Foolerton had some balls (or a fucking clue!) he'd begin fining coaches for that kind of lack of sportsmanship.

What everyone will notice are his great offensive stats, but he had some great plays on defense too.

Travis more than paid his dues as very seasoned Assistant to Monty @Cal. ...I still think he should have got the Cal job..

Coaches in the League need to grow some thicker skin... and show a little class...

Poor fella...That Hawk Coach..

UND needs a new nickname already..

Maybe UM fans could present the ND coach with some scented bath salts, chocolates, and pretty flowers when he comes to Missoula in order to sooth his hurt feelings....

If they think that they're living in a different reality. DeCuire was a player/coach in Australia, a HS coach in Washington and coached at small colleges before he was an assistant at Old Dominion and then at Cal.

Did those that watched on eversport have video? We were travelling and I had the game audio going so I could listen but I notice that I wasn't getting any video. Hoping for a replay of this one.

My video was freezing during the 1st half. 2nd half was pretty good video.
