Im gonna catch flak for this but we would be better with Gregorak running the show.

While that would be intriguing (imagine all the screaming from both sides if that happened), I think Gregorak is pretty happy as a TV commentator now. And he does a great job at it, too. He gets time with his family now. I wish he was a commentator for Griz games.

Yeah he is great at TV and sounds happy. I guess i always thought he deserved a crack at it after Delaney. I know he loves football. Fun to listen to him during the plays on a live game.

For those that are advocating the firing of the head coach, you need to consider the people and the process that were involved in his hiring this go around. You will then understand the process to reverse that act and therefore how soon and likely it is to happen.

Absolutely not. Agreed he is a NAIA legend, but that’s it. He is getting ready to ride off into the sunset. Need someone a little less long in the tooth.

I'd like to see some young coaches come in. All these old coaches that even have nfl experience has amounted to nothing. Coaching in the NFL is way different than what you need to be doing at the college level.

..I personally would like to know the process...every college at some point must hire or fire coaches..
is this act irreversible because of certain high profile characters?...where will the program be if they
win only (2) of their remaining games? ....if this is the case the program will suffer instead of severing
ties ....nothing good will become of this believe me....Hauck convinced them he was going to bring
back the glory days but has failed in (5) seasons..this could get ugly bar a miracle for a play off run..
Would they not see this?

I was being funny because this is dumb. Hauck is our coach. It’s one game. If we lose 3-4 more BSC as well as losing to the Cats, then we should be having this talk. Until that day comes, Hauck is our coach. These guys played a brutal game last Saturday and pulled out a huge win against Ferris State. What we need is a new staff. Our position coaches aren’t doing their job.

Except Bobby had a chance to get us new staff this off-season and decided instead to bring on one of his buddies whose failed everywhere recently he's been an OC and merely reshuffle the same people that were part of the problem last season. I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not with the Ferris State comment, sorry this was Bobby's UNC game he has lost all confidence from many and for good reason.

Let’s not forget the garbage hire that he brought in as the Strength coach. Again, he reached into his “buddy pool”. He ran off Nicholson, who was terrific and loved by all the players. Nicholson could not stand Hauck. Then he brings in this novice and pus him into a very important position. Must have been from all the wonderful work he did when he was at ISU!

Good questions. Not sure it is irreversible but from what is speculated on here it will take those with $$$ to admit they advocated for a bad hire. I am not judging whether it was or was not a bad hire. I am just saying for those that want to make that judgment and want the coach fired, it will require the people with power ($$$) to allow it. People can get on Kent/Bodnar and say that it is their job to make the decision but really the repercussions of going against the will of those that donate a lot of money are not small. This is not unique to UM. It is the same everywhere. $$$ rules.

He is from Big Timber....now you can see why Bobby hired him. And you are dead on about Nicholson's respect from players and hatred of Hauck
