Be careful what you wish for Nate.

All he's saying is he has been looking forward to the challenge of facing Cupp. Would you rather he shrink away from the competition?
Two things you want your db's to have are attitude and a short memory!
A 4.2 forty being 6'2 with a 40" vertical is also great! And before some egriz expert corrects me you must have good hips lol

Don't count Chalich out. I hear he's been training like mad for this game.

My best guess is Simis will start with a short leash. I would not want to put Brady out there coming off a injury behind a O-line that is not giving much time to the QB. If Brady does see the field expect lots of short quick passes
to get rid of the ball asap.

That doesn't sound like a bad thing.. Isn't that what this O is supposed to do a lot of anyway? Short dink-and-dunk series of plays, marching down the field, leaving the D on its heels unsure of what to do next? Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see one long drive like that this season.

Nate's had an awesome year, I think he'll be the best CB that Kupp has faced all year...save maybe for Oregon. JR has been great too, I'd like to see them share time on him.

Well it might be what they are supposed to do but have not seen much of it! I guess all I was saying was Gus will not be doing much read-option and plays that take time to develop or that he needs to look at second or third receivers could be disaster to his healing leg.

Totally agree. Just saying I would love to see those fast, short plays. I don't care who's playing QB.

Look at his shoes. He is running in slippery, stiff plastic soled cycling shoes to boot. The guy is all over the Grand Tours of cycling (Tours of Spain, France, Italy).

Rest easy about what will be a surprise for this next game. The QB play and who plays will be the big topic for next week on E-Griz. Some insiders know who will start and who will play QB against ewu. I asked the person that should know (spy) and she acted like she did not have any idea. BS, she knows.
I keep waiting for a trick play from Stitt. He did say he does not beleive in them. So if one comes it will scare hell out of all of us and win the football pulitzer.
The who will play QB? Could that be a sneak situation?

Maybe this is the year Heartman finally gets his shot. [emoji38]
Not true - my sources say he transferred to MT-Western. I have it on better authority that the starting QB will be Tate Forcier with Ryan Kessman as starting wing-back, kicker, punter, and offensive co-ordinator - as long as he gets unstuck from the top of 4th of July Pass...

The news on Gus is he's back and kicked some EWU ass today in preparation for the second HUGE game of his career next week against the kitties. The Griz started the season with a mega win and are poised to bring our seniors, our QB, our new coach, and the entire team, community, state and Griz Nation another road win in The Brawl! That's the news on Gus and it's great news my friends, great news!
