Own the state is working just fine for us! That's 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 so far. Go Griz!

Remember, just the second list of four before signing day. However, if the Griz get Turner, hard to argue they didn't get the best overall talent.

No no no, you are not allowed to change or manipulate the list to make it look better for your recruits. You did that last time and it wasn't cool. I kid of course, kinda ;)

I don't kid.

Think of it like a preseason All Conference team. It isn't the same at the end of the year. Guys from years past like Cole Rosling and Lance McCutcheon had huge senior seasons to push themselves up the list after not being on the preseason list. All I'm saying is its fair to judge where I move guys at the end but I move them for a reason and it isn't because they are a Griz or a Cat. Put it this way, I have a favorite Top 7 and 4 current Griz commits are in the 7.

With the earlier recruiting trend that is something that has changed. I think it is really tough to evaluate some of these recruits until at least mid way through their senior year. Players break out all the time just look at Cole Rosling from Capital he was one that came on strong senior year.

Lance McCutcheon was the big mover from last year. Cole Rosling the year before. Some guys just don't get the playing time their junior year. A name to watch for this year is Kayden Sysum, a 6'4", 240 lb. DL from Helena High. Has been sitting in the wings behind seniors and now its his turn.

Ha ha all the commits end up in the top 10  but yeah I can see how it's tough to adjust the lists and not be bias when putting kids who are committed to the griz/cats in the top10, because it does make it look better. But I'll post all the originals as the new ones come out to keep us honest, and if there are some drastic changes we can be called out on them
Speaking of bias, Mr Ross, I know which way GarglingPissSince03 leans, which way do you lean?

Hey Vim, Pepe is obviously a wildly versatile player. What position do you imagine he fits best at the collegiate level?

Vim is one of the best posters on this board, regardless of his leanings. Not sure why the name calling is necessary.

Damn garizzalies , how about showing some respect and class toward VIM and Mr Ross? Both work very hard to evaluate players and give us their honest opinions. EGRIZ has lost enough reputable posters, thanks to a few idiots and lack of appreciation. What did either of them do to you, garizzalies ?

I think his best position is safety. 2nd would be wide receiver.

Cmon guys. If you cut through the hard exterior, garizzalies is a solid poster.

Agreed. Pepe has a build of a safety. Plus all his other attributes blend well with the safety position.

I only poke fun at Vim, he works hard and despite some disagreements we have, I respect the work he does. And I don't lean one way or another. I cheer for both teams every Saturday. Mostly I cheer for Montana kids to be successful.

I was hoping you weren't going to say that I root for both bullshit. If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

And you other dudes, AsparagusPeeSince03 is a big boy and doesn't need you in his cat fights

I don't see why rooting for both is a problem. They are both from my home state. What I see is a problem is wanting a team from Montana to fail. Obviously I don't have the mentality of "everyone deserves a trophy" and when it's Brawl of the Wild I don't wear a shirt half blue half maroon. But at all levels of football I want the Montana team to beat the shit out of any out of state team. And if that out of state team has a MT kid on it, I want them to do well, but I root for the MT team.

Howard & Vim, thanks for all the great information that you bring to this board. I appreciate everything even if you aren't a full-blooded Griz fan!!

a big thanks to vim and howard on their hard work.....a ? for both of you regarding quite a few montana recruits that we say are athletes....say 6' to 6'3"and weigh 170 pounds....are the coaches thinking of these players for safety, w/r or which ones in your opinion could transition to linebacker ....seems like these guys could maintain a lot of their speed, even if they put on weight....anyone stand out that has verbaled ?

Garrett Graves and Jackson Pepe come to mind. Both griz verbals who both could transition well. Pepe I see more as a safety, Graves could be either safety or linebacker. Both have good speed and size. I see Pepe as a deep, cover safety. I see Graves as a hybrid, roll down safety who can cover WRs and RBs, but can also play in the box.

Yes, Vim has the opportunity to change the list after he sees who has verballed to Montana...

I ain't buying it. And your equivocation makes you even more suspect. I don't have a problem with who you root for or rooting for both when not against each other. Not my cup of tea but knock yourself out. However, real fence-riders are usually disinterested or transplants. You don't seem like either. So I'm just curious. If I'm going to consume your product, I would like to know where you're coming from, as I would for any other product.

BTW, I think you guys do cool things. I love to rib ole PeeStainSince03 because I know he appreciates the rivalry. So here's an olive branch and a grapefruit to crush out of the park: did your boobcats really offer the Estes kid a full ride based on his sophomore film only? I realize he's got skills but he also seems injury prone. Also, I love that Jebb Chit moved the Dillon kid to RB. Your loss is our gain. Seems like a dumb but necessary move. My question is, is it more a matter of your team having more need at RB and too much depth at DB or does Chitter actually think he'd make a better RB than DB?

I grew up a Griz fan so I will always "lean" toward UofM. But I support teams that I think are moving in the right direction. I like what Choate is doing in Bozeman, I think he has that program moving in the right direction. UofM is definitely "owning the state" right now, with not only quantity it verbals, but also quality. Cats have some talented recruits as well but the Griz are pulling them in left and right as of now.

See that wasn't so hard. And you're (literally) a better man for it. Thanks! I will now file your opinions where they deservedly belong: well above any piss-laden BS.

Do you have any insight re my 2 questions? They are legit; I'm seriously curious on those two kitten moves. I will now hang up and leave you alone
