6'3 220lbs DE/LB Milton Mamula commits. This is a good get for the a Griz. He had a PWO at Michigan and multiple other offers. His dad played for the Eagles.

Love that he’s wearing the old man’s number. Someone did their homework.

Great catch and awesome work by Griz staff to recognize that and make it happen. It's the little things that go such a long ways for these kids and their families. That was a great touch.

Why do I get the feeling that this might be Kessman 2.0? Something about it makes me nervous, like too good to be true. Hope it’s the Hauck connection winning again!

The biggest difference, and this is really rude to say, but it's true, Kessman was not a legit Div. 1 football player. Hence why he didn't make it in the FBs, and never even sniffed his shot with the Griz. This kid is a legit D1 player.

Not that anyone needs more explaining, but this is the type of difference a Hauck lead team will get you. Kids like this.

Bobby calls Tim, hey bro, you know of some under the radar diamonds out by you guys?

Tim-Ya, I know this kid and his dad played for us....could be a steal.

Montana gets a future gem.....loving it!

Kessman is the butt of a joke that appears here monthly. Any comparison to this kid is just that, a joke. SMH.

Can you say Bierman 2.0 :thumb:

I disagree completely...I think in future years we will be saying Mamula 2.0. This my friend, looks like just the beginning...Mamula 1.0

Milton has a shot to wear it in the NFL as well (god willing/health and hard work).

Mamula took his official visit to Montana over the January 26 weekend, and he fell in love.

From Amie’s article in Missoulian.

He knew he was set when he entered the new weight room in the Champions Center.

"It blew me away," Mamula said. "The first thing I saw was the weight room. I know that's where my second home would be in there. As soon as I saw that, it pretty much sold me."

He added: "I'm happy I found the University of Montana. There's no other school like it. It's on par with every (FBS) school in terms of facilities, coaching. I'm definitely not missing out when I go to Montana. That's what I'm very excited for."
